Very Nice setup!

I love Piggyback rigs - when (not if) I finally score a BC next week, I plan on doing a similar setup with an EDC or possibly my S!K 4.7CFV (since I don't have a FK). I may do another combo with the HDFK and a smaller blade (EDC, Izula, BK24, maybe my ZT180).

Please do - I need to get out and hunt for some more myself! I keep a little tin in my truck, just to have on-hand whenever. I can't get enough of that smell!!!

The stuff that's shaved down like that, will dry out and lose potency and fragrance. Ask Kyle, when you leave them in big blocks, it will keep for almost forever. Just whittle little off the block as you need it. I've sent lots of folks on the esee forum free blocks of fatwood and they have all loved it! I'll keep you and Kyle in mind when I revisit our old fatwood stomping grounds!

From top to bottom: LC-D3V / LC-4V / HDFK-D3V / UF-Elmax. The first three have different shades and streakiness of the antique edge cut micarta handle scales and the Utility Fighter has them in Cocobolo. Photos taken outside in the natural light under an umbrella in the intense Fall Sunshine of So. Cal so they appear lighter because of the daylight:

Grog, you need to hurry the #&*^ up so that the three without any leather pants get their pants :p

Good to know! The stuff in the tin is still pretty resinous and potent (for now, anyway). I have a few sticks that Ehran (Slade) sent me a while back that I've kept in whole form.

Ehran may have been one that I sent some to. Haven't seen him around in a while....

This is wonderful!

He bought a house and it sounds like he's been full speed ahead on projects for it. I still have a Skrama of his, waiting for him to get settled to send it back.

That tiny little thing? Why kill em’, we’ve got skeeters that big around here.

I'm opposed to any bug that can sting me.

I fell into a nest of yellow jackets when i was 5 years old, and got stung ...many... times (possibly hundreds?). Apart from being more than a little afraid of bees, and extremely allergic to them now, I take a dim view of anything that stings. 'Skeeters aren't my favorite either, but they are hard to stab (except the ones where you are I suppose).
