Photos! Post your CPK photos here!

Had to get this thing outside as soon as I got it in. Fortunately I had a mulberry growing where it shouldn't.

I had a sheath lying around partially completed. I think the shell pattern looks like some ugly art deco stuff you'd see in a hotel bathroom so I didn't want to sell it, it'll do for me I think.

This was just a couple minutes of use but I think "Get one, get one if you can!!!" sums up my thoughts on this thing. It seemed like the sweet spot may have been a little further out than I would expect which is fantastic if that's the case. I think the Scrapyard 1311 is the only thing I can recall using that is close to this in terms of being quick and taking out big chunks but the BC delivers quite a lot more impact. Hopefully I'll get to lug a bunch of choppers out and use them side by side soon.

Thank you very much Carothers Crew!!

Edit: The Imgur mobile app seems a fickle thing. Sometimes you get pics that are about the size of a large thumbnail, sometimes they turn out yuge like these.
I don't think tgat patterns ugly at all, I think it is gorgeous. If I had known that pattern was an option when I ordered my sheath I probably would have gone for it myself. I will probably ask for that the next time I buy a sheath...

For those inside today, who may join us vicariously, I'll be using the Solo Stove Bonfire for the first time w/my kids this evening

Thank you PT for sharing. A Zombie chopper is on my bucket list and in no way I'm throwing the towel into the fooquit list!

Maybe if I bribe Sadie and Zak over there at the CPK-HQ, they will line me up with a Zombified MC iteration in 2018 :)

Damn PT, you are gentle!!

I'm going to hit it harder for you next time... ;p

Was a little concerned about stuff flying in my eye as I was down close to it. I will also add that even at this level my hand gets some pretty bad residual pain from the shock absorption. Try to go easy on myself if it has been awhile and the musculature is not built up.

I enjoyed pairing my only 3V knives together. They make a mean little duo. To round it out i'll bring my beer scout in later for some critical action with the caplifter!

Look for an update later with some flames.

Made a mess out of this post. I'll try again. Mike

Well, since abbydaddy just posted my sentiments.... I'll just say that I like your "art deco, hotel bathroom" pattern (and sheath) very much, also.

Hi, Panthera Tigris. How are you liking the solo stove? I’ve had my eye on one for awhile now. Seems like a fun and efficient way to play with fire. Mike

Tonight was the first time using it. We had a great time around the bonfire. I bought it because of the way it directs smoke up with pressure, and it is fairly resistant to wind gusts. Beyond the smoke benefit, it was very easy to get going and it burned hot and fully. Will be making it a regular part of our routine.

It consumes wood pretty fast - you'll want to account for that and stack some extra logs.

Ok, note to self, pictures on a horizontal axis aren't as huge as the vertical when using the Imgur app.
