I don't think tgat patterns ugly at all, I think it is gorgeous. If I had known that pattern was an option when I ordered my sheath I probably would have gone for it myself. I will probably ask for that the next time I buy a sheath...Had to get this thing outside as soon as I got it in. Fortunately I had a mulberry growing where it shouldn't.

I had a sheath lying around partially completed. I think the shell pattern looks like some ugly art deco stuff you'd see in a hotel bathroom so I didn't want to sell it, it'll do for me I think.

This was just a couple minutes of use but I think "Get one, get one if you can!!!" sums up my thoughts on this thing. It seemed like the sweet spot may have been a little further out than I would expect which is fantastic if that's the case. I think the Scrapyard 1311 is the only thing I can recall using that is close to this in terms of being quick and taking out big chunks but the BC delivers quite a lot more impact. Hopefully I'll get to lug a bunch of choppers out and use them side by side soon.
Thank you very much Carothers Crew!!
Edit: The Imgur mobile app seems a fickle thing. Sometimes you get pics that are about the size of a large thumbnail, sometimes they turn out yuge like these.
Damn PT, you are gentle!!
Tonight was the first time using it. We had a great time around the bonfire. I bought it because of the way it directs smoke up with pressure, and it is fairly resistant to wind gusts. Beyond the smoke benefit, it was very easy to get going and it burned hot and fully. Will be making it a regular part of our routine.
It consumes wood pretty fast - you'll want to account for that and stack some extra logs.
Was a little concerned about stuff flying in my eye as I was down close to it
