Been wanting a set for my user for quite some time.
Ah I see. I got excited for a moment. I'm looking for an unbuffed set for my FK. Was hoping that these could still be ordered! That's OK, my hunt continues!A friend on here had a set he (foolishly) no longer wanted and asked me if I was interested in taking them off his hands. Been wanting a set for my user for quite some time. Needless to say I'm very pleased.
Unfortunately, I'm unable to locate my other hex key so swapping them will have to wait until tomorrow.

Oh I love the vintage micarta, but I was just hoping to order a set of unbuffed micarta. I was pretty sure that's what I wanted, and after going elbows deep in a deer body cavity, I'm sure of it. The buffed micarta looks nice and I'm sure is practical for some, but I feel better with the extra traction. They are pretty rare as Nathan hadn't secured the volume of material he has now, so at the time there was very little left. I think there was probably less than 10 handle sets made, maybe closer to 6. I sold him those as he proxied for me, and I don't need 2 sets. My focus continues to be wood handles, and his vintage. Was a good fit, and I wanted to repay his favour. Nothing shady!

For GRIP! The polished micarta is just too slick, especially on the Shiv. I've been thinking about media-blasting the scales on all of the CPKs, but I haven't totally committed to the idea. What’s with the tennis grip on the Shiv?
