I don’t know why I can never get a picture to insert properly on online forums. The image button never works like I think it should.

Anyhow, at my buddies camp I split some logs and then made some kindling and tried some feather sticking. I can improve but it definitely helped get the fire going.

Although I have had the proto-BC before and further, I can't now remember their (very subtle) differences, this production BC with the edgecut antique micarta is just one beautiful and exquisite "piece". Nathan, you're one friggin sharpening maven for knives which just roll outta your production line. This huge and thick hunk of the D3V, just shears through thin paper with almost no resistance and with zero snags whatsoever. I know that we have sharpening aficionados who may do even better on their own but for a knife which rolls off the production line, you're one dialed in wizard!

I am so excited over this that I already gave myself the rest of this Saturday off and have have had a beer, well, maybe two already. Hick!
