and

My pleasure Gus glad to help out... Looks dope!! Nice choice

My Field Knife is the one that gets carried most at work. The pry pommel comes in handy for opening control panels. It will be interesting to see if the FK2 can steel that roll without the pry pommel.

This may be a better image of the UFK Ghost scales being offered, something difficult to capture, not nearly as well as the eye itself does:

I can’t wait to see these scales in person. They look great!!

I wanted to share some photos of a current facelift to one of my FK's by "the man" Tony Renfrow TRfromMT TRfromMT Tony did an amazing job using some ironwood burl from Ironwoodman. Thanks brother! I sure appreciate the heart and soul you put into this. It shows and this is one bad ass FK. EPIC!!

Jo is sending my new fasteners as well.

you're welcome Choppaman Choppaman . This was a fun project.

When I saw that piece of ironwood, I knew it would be something special. The good stuff is in there... you just have to get to it.

Edit - for those wondering, Choppaman contacted me outside of bladeforums, and it wasn't until part way through this project we even realized we were both on this forum. I try to respect BF rules about membership levels and soliciting work. Thanks.

Boy Tony hit this one out of the park again, so far everything I’ve seen from him has been stellar and that’s only what he’s posted. Do you make anything that’s not perfect?

HA! That's funny. I have photo I should dig up. I have kept about 20 sets of 1911 pistol grips that got scrapped out for one reason or another (that's just 1911 grips). The pile of them sitting on my work bench is a good reminder that perfection is simply impossible.

I'm glad others appreciate what I do. Thanks for the complements!

View attachment 1071961 View attachment 1071962 Let me ride Choppaman Choppaman ’s coat tails and say that TRfromMT TRfromMT actually did a set for my FK, too! I don’t have any good pics of it on the knife because the sun has been hiding on the east coast but I can include a picture of the set Tony made for me with guest appearance by Tony’s fingers!
Tony has the utmost customer service and even let me call him so he could guide me through removal of the old scales.
These scales POP and shimmer wonderfully.

I am actually waiting to hear back from Jo about some new hardware... D;
After some mishaps putting these beauts on my FK.

Those are sweet as well. Koa (looks like Koa) is some amazing wood. I considered that when I talked to Tony originally. Make sure you post some completed pics so we can see those on the FK!! :thumbsup:
