Thanks for sharing Gus. You know what was most remarkable about that knife to me? Just how black the fasteners are. I have never seen another knife from CPK with such properly coated fasteners.

100% a positive! I love that knife. It's just that I have seen SO many of Nathan's fasteners, I even complained to him about the finish on them. He gave me the whole explanation of how well they work, how he had them made, how there is no logical alternative...

Then looky looky, his knife shows up and the fasteners are perfect!!!

No coincidence I suspect!!!!

I have one extremely similar to that one, also one of a kind, but a Shiv. Nearly identical, double edge dagger grind, extremely sharp tip. Cuts just touching it. But in G10 lined Blackwood from an old stash, extremely black rather than Cocobolo. Not all black fasteners though!

So yes I love it, and I love the fasteners. :)

In a need to get to know how thing progressed, what is out there before I came around totally honest and innocent way.

I would have done the same if useful but it was not featured in photos however.

When I got to the post office they told me that my package was delayed and possibly lost..

..several phone calls later they went out back to check new arrivals and my package was apparently the first one they looked at.
.. What a relief!
