I see. I was thinking I was seeing some green in there. That gold from the heat treat is really pronounced on it.

Those could be buffed Green & black Linen micarta scales.

The BMF scales looked like they just ate a Popeyes biscuit without a drink.
Put a few layers of Tru Oil on them.
Now they look much better.
