I don't post too often around here. However, I'm a huge fan of CPK's work. I have some to use and some to keep nice as a record. I can stare at stuff like this all day, or get a big smile putting it to work.

That collection is just brilliant CW. I so hope that Nathan will do another run of those D2 skinners at some point. Maybe since Mark is doing some runs like the EDC in D2 it will be a possibility. It looks like a wonderfully practical design.

Just got the LC in the mail yesterday. Sorry for the indoor, perfectly arranged, less-than-interesting photo...

Haven't had a chance to use it yet. First impressions are that this is one amazing piece of hardware! I am excited to use it and for a noob to the chopper arena, I am immediately fascinated with this knife and it's potential. I have a rogue tree that's uprooting a retaining wall in my yard - it will likely be my first victim. It's about 3" at the trunk. Can't wait!!

Someone asked a question about the Heavy Chopper (which never went to production) in "Ask Nathan a Question" thread, so figured I would offer a visual of the two, below:

Merci Baucoup: Jo / Nathan and honorable mention: Lorien Arnold :)

P.S. The tiny spec above the maker's mark is just residue from the horizontal kydex sheath.

you guys are making this knife look great, thanks :)

Two things I love with one the I absolutely loath. This knife was just asking to shred that organic chemistry book!

Just arrived! EDC in D2. I love this maroon micarta. It's my favorite color in this material. I can't wait to try this our in situations wear edge wear is a factor. I will let you know if there is a difference over some other steel.

Shown with a Nepal small Kukri knife.
