Lorien, I didn’t answer your question. I had set a lofty goal of acquiring at least one example of what I loosely consider “CPK families “ of knifes. I whittled, notched, and oiled the “STICK” accordingly. From that tree, I also kept a bigger “STICK” for the next goal.

Along the way, a handful of other fine knives jumped into the safe or other holes in our cave. But one beautiful specimen was worthy of display. The “Shedding”!!! Thus the tag to its creator.

Goals being elusive little Fers, aren’t always exact. Somehow I wasn’t able to score a UF2 . Also, I realized along the way, that new varieties of these amazing CPKs keep ona comin’ ! Can’t make Friday sales, too impatient when pre-orders were happening, and “Will travel for knife.” Find vein, insert needle,…..neeeed moooore !!!

In conclusion, the “STICK” came before the knives…..

Bought a bag of Doritos the other day, couldn't tell you how long ago the last time was. Full-size bags aren't much bigger than I remember big grabs used to me. And my charmin rolls have gotten smaller. Shrinkflation really rustles my jimmies.

I picked up a bag of the Tapatio variety. I hadn't seen them in years (probably the last time I bought a bag) and assumed they'd been discontinued.
