Forgot to say, we were on Lake George at Camp Chingachgook. Beautiful venue! What part of the Adirondacks were you training in? I used to spend a great deal of time up there backpacking, x-c skiing and canoeing.
The last of the Mohicans.Forgot to say, we were on Lake George at Camp Chingachgook. Beautiful venue!
Didn't realize the significance until you said that, cool. I've always meant to read the Leatherstocking tales. The last of the Mohicans.
I've read a couple over the years..."The Last of the Mohicans" is a great book. (Several of the water scenes from the movie version with Daniel Day Lewis were filmed about four miles from here...as the crow flies.)Didn't realize the significance until you said that, cool. Sounds like a great course you went through. Glad your blade served you well. Wet and cold is a miserable mix!Forgot to say, we were on Lake George at Camp Chingachgook. Beautiful venue!
It was a great course, Josh was an instructor with a wealth of experience and a great sense of humor. The course was challenging, and I felt really accomplished when it was done.Sounds like a great course you went through. Glad your blade served you well. Wet and cold is a miserable mix!

Mostly pretty reasonable, a lot of Moras and several had puukkos that Josh produces. One guy had a Winkler, and another guy tried to do everything with a ZTVery cool to see the pics, looks like a neat thing to do. How was the knife selection between the others, any gas station classics?
