Anytime I’m lucky enough to have both. Yes there’s a big difference between the two. If I put the MC into the heavy chopper sheath it’s just lost lol

I‘ve been comparing both of mine again since the weekend and swear there’s no difference so I pulled the scales off the one supposed to be the H/T version and it is. Had to run to work so I couldn’t pull the scales off the other one, needed to keep a little mystery to the situation!

Do you mean like telling which one is which? You should be able to see it in the width of the edge bevel if you have 2 to compare.

You do have to look close tho. Here’s a comparison pic I had. Hard Thin on the left:

Yeah Mark, some of the discussion around my tailgate centered around the ways to tell the difference. Non.Nisi.Te had a standard and H/T version and there’s no doubt which was which when holding them up next to one another. Jo said to just pull the scales off if I wanted to know for sure and look for the “H”, she said that sometimes it’s the only way to tell.

I’ll have to take pics of mine together lol, none of the usual ways to tell them apart work for my FK2’s, the differences in edge, primary grind running to the logo, etc, don’t differentiate them in any appreciable way, they’re that close. I used to think that the person who sold me the H/T was mistaken but I’m happy to see they weren’t.

Maybe my standard FK2 is actually a H/T version as well! I was really blown away how easy it was to see the difference in the two I checked out, much like mb> pics above.

Yeah I know, me too haha.

Look at the LA logo on my H/T and yours with regards to the plunge, see how much closer they run together on your knife? It damn near clips the corner of the square on yours, mine compares better to your standard version I think, without the H it’s seriously hard to tell.
