In other words, potential catch but definite release :D

Yeah, something like that.

It's been rainy but too cold. Had been around 20° below average but finally started warming today. Forecast is looking to be low to mid 60's for the next week so those tasty fungi should be popping real soon.

On the way to lunch today

Coming around a turn we saw this lady with a baby stroller walking up the road. I told Jo and Mark "that was a goddamn pig in that baby stroller"

We saw her on the way back and snapped a picture (with her permission).

Ah the pic isn't working for me. I've never understood the pig as a pet thing. Get a pug, that's close enough.

Years ago when I was actively engaged in the auto business and used to take vehicles regularly to the local Mercedes dealership for some pre-sale service and inspections, I came across this one guy waiting in the fancy service lounge with a large white parrot on his shoulder. Those who are old enough to remember the parrot (technically a cockatoo) named Fred in the Barreta TV series will know what kind I'm referring to. Amused by this, later I asked the service advisor as to what the deal was with that goofy set up?! The advisor told me that guy always has his beloved parrot with him when he comes for service and in fact the parrot was attacked a while a ago by a dog and had a part of his beak mangled in the dog fight. However a few reconstructive surgeries later at the cost of who knows what, maybe $10K, he got his (man-made) beak back!

Only in So. Cal!!! LOLz...

The end.

a fictional story based on true events

One of my long time ago neighbors had a (potbelly) pig as a pet. The wife didn't like the pig, and being as intelligent as they are (the pig sensed this) and he would chew up her clothes. Also their hair is like a wire brush.
