I have an RLC and an FK both true Westinghouse micarta. Even rarer. But the antique micarta beats it hands down. Anyone who had a choice between my Westinghouse set and Justin's set would be crazy to not to go for your's, Justin. We should all be eternally grateful for Nathan's good eye when he found this material. IT IS BITCHIN!

Nah Bob different strokes for different folks. I'm sure there are people who would prefer the Westinghouse you have, in particular when it matches the dagger!

I don't often share pics just like many other collectors, but I'm trying to do a better job including other people in my enjoyment of Nathan's work these days as more and more people are coming to find his work. It's not a competition at all, you've won that long ago Bob!

LOL!

Bear thoughts:

"Hmmm.. there's a guy over there heading in this general direction... wait.. OH SHIT, HE'S GOT A KNIFE!.. oh crap oh crap oh crap.. I hope he can't climb!".. after several minutes.. "This neighborhood is going to hell.."

Let me start by saying wow. Just wow. Great work @Nathan the Machinist @Jo the Machinist @CPK Mark. This thing is perfect.

Now onto the BEHEMOTH! Choppa!.. it is surprisingly light and nimble in the hand. It's a BIG blade and makes the LC feel really light, but it doesn't feel heavy to me at all if that makes sense. The scale and ergonomics of the handle are absolutely perfect. The fit and finish is what we all have come to love and expect from CPK, and I can't tell this is a hand-ground prototype. It came sharp enough to shave but I hit it on the 6000 grit side of my strop (green BRKT) and now it's like a short light saber. The 1/4" D3V blade made me giggle a bit when I unboxed it and I haven't stopped smiling yet. I hope I have a pallet in the garage because this bad boy is begging to kill something. I hope they make this something they can profit from because it'll be a hit like the rest of their line. Thanks again to the team at CPK and I'm looking forward to more for you three.
