Sorry. I keep trying to like it, but I just can’t. Black cherry to my eye just looks black under most conditions. Unless it is placed under bright light, it does seem to appear dull as Jeff
black mamba
has written or like dark brown delrin as suggested by

. The name sounds great, but the reality is different. The same seems to be true of the Dark Brewed color. Great name, and it looks nice jigged. However, in Sawcut, it would look very much like brown delrin.
We have two excellent choices, Blood Red on one hand and Dark Chestnut/Copperhead on the other. These are GEC's most beautiful, exquisite and sought after colors. Either one would be an absolute winner made of Unobtanium. You simply cannot find knives with these colors, now we have a chance to have one delivered to our doorstep for a very reasonable price!
Please do not be scared into something lackluster. Not one person complaining of pink has shown an example of a BLOOD RED SAWCUT knife with pink.
Similarly, DARK CHESTNUT or COPPERHEAD is not common brown. They look like they are infused with color and almost glow. They are slightly different. Dark Chestnut has yellow undertones. I believe it is pretty much the same hue as Antique Yellow with a different name. Copperhead is more on the reddish copper side with lighter undertones. They are equally perfect and certainly not boring.
The only way we can have a less than spectacular knife is if we do not select one of these colors. So, whether you want Red or Brown, do not be guided by fear. Let's select a bold color!
By the way, a lot of the other colors are great. I just believe these two options are several notches higher.
