Pics From CA Bushbash II

Last time I brought about a 50-60 lb bag o' blades but last week I just didn't have time to unload the safe. Sorry about that.

Ray and Mike had a couple cool ones, however.

That looks like it was a great time! Scenery, guns, knives, great food, campfire and beer!

There were bows, slingshots, throwing hawks, firedrills, wine, and hard liquor too (not at the same time, of course).

As you may be able to tell from seeing the three bandages on my fingers, I got to practice a few anyway!

We had a great time. Did some squirrel hunting... sort of (I missed), hiking, archery, shooting, and a lot of eating and talking.

The area was awesome. We were really in the middle of the forest. Weather was a little chilly at night, but great.

I realize now that we didn't get any knife pics. I only took a few shots. Here are a couple:

In fairness, you made quite a few great shots despite the ability of the squirrel to avoid your bullet.

Man, I wish I could have been there! Hopefully I will be able to make it to the spring trip. And I'll make scones again.

Mike got in invition to come back from the Squirrel. When he thinks he can do better lol.

But in all honesty Mike is a great shoot. Most of his shoots were bulls eyes.

I think i can speak for everyone when i say we had lots of fun. Company was realy great. Food was realy good, Mike made some great steaks. I think all of us gained atlist 2lb in the three days lol. Yet again i can say that the guys from WSS are some of the best out there to spend time outdoors with. The plan for BushBash III is on the way. Should be a real blast.

Sasha

Doc,

Your name came up when I was describing different types of firedrills, including the so-called Egyptian firedrill. I think the other guys thought I was BSing them a little....:D

Sasha,

One of the reasons I brought Niels was so that I wouldn't be both the oldest and fattest bastid there! If I can find out how Mike recently shed 30 pounds, maybe I can drop the lead in both categories?

Dave besides Niels being the oldest lol he sure got the most charactor as well. He was also the best dressed guy out there. Heck the man had a scarve that was color cordinated...

Sasha

Yes, he's quite a character. I think folks enjoyed his military stories. Did I mention that he fought for the North?
