congratulations, and thanks for sharing. gorgeous countryside, I honestly never knew (parts of) Poland were so beautiful.

Never thought of Poland to be this beautiful! Thank you for enlightening me! ;)

And congratz!

Congrats on the wedding and honeymoon. You must be one dedicated HOG to be taking knife photos on your honeymoon though; and one lucky guy to have a woman who will put up with that! :p

Thanks guys for kind words! Poland is truly beautiful country. We have sea up north, mountains down south and lots of forests.

Here's a pic of my lovely wife. The only one she let me post...
She doesn't share my knife passion but tolerates it. That's why I was able to take three pic of my knife during honeymoon trips. I used the knife to prepare meals during stops.
She loves hiking - like me.

Man! What a beautiful country!!!
Thank you for the pics and congrats on your marriage!

TreeHearder......thank you for the photos. It brings back very fond memories. My mother is originally from Zakopane, and 22 years ago I got to spend 2 weeks there with my family. It was truelly amazing!!!!! Did you hike up to Gevont? I hope to go back someday and show my kids where their family comes from and Zakopane and Krakow are the 2 main stops. Thanks again for the photos

Congrats. As someone who's family emmigrated from Poland over 110 years ago, it's nice to see what the "old country" looks like outside of the cities. Both my parents were born, grew up, and met in a city with a very large Polish community, so I've been exposed to lots of Polish culture. However since my formative years were during the Cold War, and the Solidarity movement, I never got to go and visit as a kid, even though I'm almost almost completely of Polish descent(with a little Ukranian as well, depending on where the borders were at the time). I'm curious about the hunting, knife and gun laws in Poland, could you give a brief rundown?

Thanks for sharing your photos, and btw can you ski in those mountains?
