Pics from the Smoky Mountain...

looks nice, how big is this place? from the comments it seems massive. who owns it?(sorry for all the questions)

Oh, big enough for a 15' water fall, 2 full stories, a museum in the attic and a 30' tall sword in a stone. It is the the world's largest knife showplace. God put it here a couple of days after Moses graduated High School. Been growing ever since.

2 things I will always rememer about the place, when I was a kid, they had guys playing Bluegrass on the porch, and a guy would sharpen your knife for a quarter, on a foot pumped sharpening wheel. They have real Kettle Korn, and lemonade, literally made right in front of you. They sell handmade Dulcimers, Beef Jerky by the pound, relics from the Civil War, and have blades from every era of history, and some knives laying around too. Huge Kitchen selection, a place to buy everything you need to make a knife, and some knives laying around.

Great place, I go there at least once a month, sometimes two.

that sounds amazing, i live in real low sc, so i probably wont be able to go often, but i bet i can hit it up this summer.....wonder how much money i can save up between now and then....

i have seen the promised land lol thanks for the pics moose, wish i could see it in person sometime. awesome display guys!

That's an awesome display! I really need to get over there and check that place out! I'm with Dave, if more knife shop's had something similar you'd be busier than a one legged man in an ass kicking contest... As if you guys aren't busy already! The map, pics, broken knives really do a great job of showing what ESEE is really about. Thanks for the pics brother Moose!

You do realize that by posting that I have to go there now and buy at least 3 knives. Probably more. :D I'm excited already!

Nice pics, Cool display.

SMKW is a great place to visit. It is where I met Mike Perrin and bought my first ESEE. I am in Gatlinburg every Memorial weekend and try and get up there at least once. It is a great place to put your hands on knives that most places don't carry.

Thanks for the pics Moose. The display looks great.

Is that a TOPS Knives display right next door?

Yes, it was. That was a new area they setup a few months ago, called the Tactical Cave. Lots of knives that are oriented for that type of classification. Not poking fun, just what they call it.
