I made my first attempt at aftermarket scales. I now have a new appreciation for belt sanders. I lost track of how many hours I spent shaping the handles by hand.

I still need to do some slight tweaks and oil it up, but all in all I'm pleased.

Very good job! i think you are ready to build a bevel filing jig and make the whole thing yourself. Get to the drawing board!
