Have you weighed the "after" version to see how much weight was lost in the scale swap? It would be interesting to know... :thumbup:

I always think about scale swaps on all Ti knives for weight savings. The ZT 801 would be a good candidate as well. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Benchmade Griptilian scales! First test cuts! I would say success! Need to thin it out some but everything fits good. Hope I don't have to test to many scales... I hate putting these back together!

Very interesting, I heard that once de-anno the aluminum is not as strong... Do you find that to be true?
