^This looks really nice. What did you do to the blade? Details, if possible. Would like to do this to my P2 & remove all the logos, etc. Thanks.

Alias I- Matte Black Duracoated scales, still need to polish the pocket clip and washers. Would also like to dark stonewash the blade, eventually.

Not much, but I was sick of the terrible pointy, non-matching pocket clip, so I fixed it. A minute on the belt grinder, 20 minutes in 50/50 PCB etchant, and an hour tumbling got it pretty close. Was my first attempt stonewashing, and it was easy. Just dropped the clip and screws into a small tupperware container with a handful of pebbles, broken glass, and some tile fragments or something from the alley, taped it closed, then taped a towel around it, and threw it in the dryer.

Not bad! :)

The only reason why I'm leaving the clip alone is because it looks so much like the ones on his custom stuff. I would like to etch mine though!

As for stonewashing... well, I'll be shaking the tub myself from now on. The last one broke apart in the dryer full of clothes... you do NOT want to know how my wife took it! Approx 1,000,000 rocks + a bunch of wd40 mixed with the wife's finest? Not good... :(

That clip looks great! Nice work for a first try or any try for that matter. I just purchased a Southard and before it even arrived I got a clip from STR because the stock clip looks so ugly to me.
