Benchmade 755 with white ceraglass Cuscadi scales.

Looks awesome! I've been considering this Benchmade 755, and this particular one is really sweet looking with those white scales.

If I might ask, did you make those yourself or are those available somewhere?

Here's my "waved" 5.11 Scout Tanto 3.5" that I just did today. Never really carry this knife that much and I was just curious

Thank you! :). You work looks awesome too!

Thank you Sir.

I can't seem to leave my new ZT0350M390 alone.
First I made it some Silver Twill scales.
But, I installed some standoffs tonight.
That's right, no more back spacer.
The AO works perfectly.
Check it out!
Three of the posts are stationary, one moves with the torsion bar.

Heat anodizing of ZT0777. I couldn't capture the color well, but it's a light blue with hints of purple.

That looks cool. What's the process?
- I took apart the Cryo and used a small propane torch on the scales and framelock. I basically went back and forth slowly until it changed colors. The first color was a bronze and then light blue, then dark blue. I normally would have stopped there, but the knife is for my wife. She wanted a greenish, so I heated it to purple and got sections of green.

Thank you Sir.

I'm really, really curious about that. It looks absolutely fascinating. Do you have any pictures of it taken apart?

That is a very, very, cool idea!

They are made in Germany by Cuscadi.

Here are a couple I had customized a bit by Kent at Mad-Jac's Finishing & Archery. He's taking a break from finishing work while his wife is in nursing school, and I managed to squeeze in just in time:

My wife's 275. Yes, my 5'1" wife loves the Adamas. Just goes to show you, if you want to get a knife for your lady, let her pick it out. It might not be the one you expect.

and a 940 I bought used and sent straight to Kent for some reanodizing. This one was a bugger to do because of the curvy bolster and the groove, but I'm happy with the result:

Wow, nicest looking 940 I've ever seen!

Kent did a great job with it, especially considering the difficult task I gave him. Since anodizing is done by immersion, it's hard to get those curves and grooves masked properly so that the dye doesn't bleed under the mask. He said it was giving him fits for quite a while trying to get the masking to work. It's not like a completely smooth flat surface where the mask can lay flat. I'm not sure, but I think he ended up having to apply the grey (diluted gunsmoke/black?) dye to the freshly anodized surface by hand. My ears were burning a lot during September, so I can just imagine what Kent was muttering under his breath about me! :D I can see why Benchmade hasn't done it before and went with the separate bolster on their gold class 940.
