Here is my humble little shop(man cave). Its my little corner in the garage where I make knives. One of these days I'll have all the fancy shmancy stuff. I guess I just got to pay my dues and keep at it with what I got. It is actually cleaner than normal here.:o

Pancho if you want to free up more bench space get a sliding shelf and set it up under your bench then bolt your buffer or grinder to it and slide it out when you need it . I have one on a shelf now and gonna do another soon.

Looks a lot cleaner than my garage. Did I understand correctly that this is you're corner, or just your corner for knives because the whole garage is mine. As a matter of fact, I can't remember the last time the wife stepped foot in my garage.

Yup it just that little corner. There is a yard tractor, toys, and all kinds of stuff we have stored in there.

Looks good to me. In some parts of the world several families could make a good living out of that shop. We are so spoiled here in the USA.

Don't feel too bad I have a 6 foot by 7 foot area. That has to hold my grinder, drill press, bandsaw, and work table. Looks good!

Im like you guys , my shop is small . I have a friend that his one shop with infloor heat has 2 floors and is 200x100 and 20 ft walls. his other small shop in floor heat as well is only 80 x40 . This is my work bench Pancho the door opens and then the buffer slides out . Sharpeners and buffers really do get used alot but only for a few min on each knife so its nice to get it out of the way.

You need a few cans of sardines or vienna sausages to complete the picture. Pork rinds will work, too.

Well I have heard it is the craftsman and not the shop. So I need to work on the craftsman side until I can do the shop part.

YUP Frank people sometimes people say things either cuzz they are jealous or a just plain mean . Most of the time people who say rude comments only need a piece of rope 5 ft long, depending how tall they are.

Awww come on, that was not meant as a jab at your shop in any way!. I like sardines and pork rinds and would be above having some in my shop if it wasn't so tiny and dirty. I'm the kind that would have a talking bass on my wall and I meant it along those lines. It wasn't meant to be about you.

Your shop is bigger, better and cleaner than mine. I need to remember to use a smiley when I try to joke.

Hellgap,

I wasn't poking fun at your shop, either. It's better than my shop.

I just like things like pork rinds around in case I get the munchies. I had a coyote skull I was going to put in my shop but I think my ex-wife might have thrown it out.

Hi Frank. If you can use it , then it is GREAT. Reminds me a bit of my first one where I had several tools on the floor under a few benches trhat I would haul out for use as necessary. Another Frank

Ok Gshamr I thought you were not joking . I appoligise . I have a 10 pound walleye on the wall in my shop out of view and a big white tail rack with 30 plus new belts hanging on them . I try very hard to keep my shop clean and organized , but when there are days like today I ground out 4 knives all hell breaks loose and clean up comes later.
