Pics of my day hike with the gf

Cool pics, you were only about 30 minutes from me at woodridge park. Have you ever been down to Pomona lake? Their are some nice trails there. 110 mile park is a good place to get on.

Yep, she had her Spyderco Cricket on her.
I haven't slept in it, but I like it a lot so far. I'll post up a more detailed review after Friday.
Man that sucks about court. What a messed up system.
I'm getting pumped for Friday. I'm gonna go over my stuff again in a few minutes to make sure I've got everything.

i'm a BIG BIG BIG fan of the Hennessey Hammocks; and they have a cold weather system, though I haven't needed in temps down to 38 or so.

Advise! At least one foam pad, or a yoga pad (a thick one), underneath you, and then your sleeping bag on top. Pretty much covers it; in warmer weather, I don't use the pad at all, and in coldest weather, I had two pads, a second sleeping bag to lay on, and the primary sleep bag as a blanket and/or warmth for legs/lower torso, while I used a large wool poncho as a blanket.

Wear a hat and gloves. Toasty!

Free sailing!

J is bringing a sleeping bag for me to borrow, I have a fleece sleeping bag to use as a liner, and I have a sleeping pad I bought the other day for $5 at Walmart. I will definitely be bringing a couple of extra layers, too.
