Pics of Pairs--Large and Small Versions of the Same Model

Keeping the post alive with the ZT0900 and ZT0909. An endangered pair.

Nice pair, @Omen . I've got an 0909 in the mail at a nice clearance price from KSF and thought about the 0900 too. I really like Les George's stuff, but having seen a pic of an 0900 next to an 0801 I'm pretty sure the former would not be a good fit for my beat-up old carpenter's mitts. I had a de-assisted 0350BW that I sold because it never got any pocket time. I kinda miss that one now and it would make a great partner for my honkin' big new 0909.

I really do like big folders. :p

I'll bump a bit again with a pair of Hinderers--my XM18 3.5" Dragon and big-boy XM24 which was re-ground from sharpened prybar Spanto to laser-sharp high-hollow by Josh at REK. That one bears Josh's new logo on the blade's presentation side as the knife came sterile from Hinderer.

Ok, here’s a pair of pairs with one knife in common.

The lionSTEEL SR1 and SR2 are basically the same model—framelocks with thumbstuds. My SR1 is Ti and the SR2 is black hardcoat over aluminum. Both have integral handles, carved out of one solid block of metal.

Though different versions of similar knives, the SR2 (pictured above and below) and the SR11 look a bit more like each other, both having integral aluminum grips with hardcoat finishes. The SR11 is a flipper, though, and a pretty good one too.

Nice pairs, abbazaba abbazaba . This is a fun old thread and it's nice to have a bit of life breathed into it from time to time. I'll post this pair of Shiros that aren't the same model, but are big and little ti framelocks on bearings. If I had a F95R it would be more legit, but I'm the OP so I'll take a little license and save myself the 900 bucks for now.
