Pics of Pairs--Large and Small Versions of the Same Model

I earlier posted pics of various small & large ZT pairs & trios from my collection in this thread.

I was planning to post pics of the various small & large Spyderco pairs & trios from my collection here too but Spyderco makes so many such pairs & trios that I thought it would be better to start a thread just focusing on such knife pairs & trios in the Spyderco sub-forum instead.

So I started one HERE where you can find 9 different small & large Spyderco pairs & trios from my collection.

DennisM DennisM the MagnaCut Edge-C, which I wear around my neck and use every day, is 3/32", and the Edge-C XL Prototype in AEB-L is 1/4". The handle is highly skeletonized, and with its lean grind and lightweight GripX handle material, the knife is much lighter than one might expect.

Nice! So the XL is just shy of 3x the width of the standard. I like the fat look of XL and that you've cut weight during engineering. Both models are more examples of DMC beauties.

FYI - your previous personal edc, blue/black Prevail, still rides proudly in the arm rest of my truck and a convenient grab whenever needed. What a great knife.

Thank you for the very kind words Dennis!

And for the reminder. I will have to get one of all four sizes in the Prevail family made up for the thread this year at some point.

I have these, although the generational change from old-style pre-Demko Voyagers to Tri-Ad ones is a bit like the transformation from old school Klingons to Next Generation ones. Yes, there's a resemblance, but the new ones look gnarlier.

Not sure what those are ChazzyP ChazzyP but they appear to be much closer to a sensible blade to handle relationship than almost everything on the market. A handle that allows you to get close to the blade in a comfortable grip, but minimizes how much actual cutting edge is sacrificed to that end.
