Pics of Pairs--Large and Small Versions of the Same Model

My apologies for not being more clear on what I was trying to ask but thanks for the reply, the input here is what I was looking for.

Been researching knives and the consensus seems combo edges aren't too popular but no one really says why, I can imagine probably cuz they are harder to sharpen up so was looking for real world feedback which you provided, thanks!

Got it narrowed down between Endura, Endela, and Bareknuckle.. decisons, decisions..

You weren't unclear--I just read carelessly.

Serrations aren't really hard to sharpen--the triangle edges of Sharpmaker rods make quick work of them, for example--but combo edges do add stages to the process. Most knife guys just prefer the clean look and consistency of a continuous edge. Serrations just aren't that useful for everyday tasks and can get on the way of some uses. YMMV.

Good luck with your search.

@KC Gray Thylacine and Mini Thylacine. Prettiest users I own!

Here's the triple double I've been putting together for a long time. The launch of the Sebenza 31 and my inability to fight urges for "the new hotness" slowed things down. And also Anthony's refusal to relaunch the Mini Socom. I looked for a long time for a Mini that was clip point, not serrated and reasonably priced. That's a bigger task than I expected. Anyways, the schism is over, and I think I have the best trio on the market (for me) of models that fit the theme of this thread.

abbazaba abbazaba posted in a new Pairs Thread and made reference to this old (old enough to be olde) thread of mine. While not wishing to to detract from Jaxe Pen Kits Jaxe Pen Kits 's thread and, while being cognizant of BF's general proscription against necro-posting, I thought I'd look for some more recent combos of mine, post a pic or two here going forward, and see if there's any renewed interest in large/small pairings specifically.

ChazzyP ChazzyP you know this is one of the best thread ideas out there, no necro-shaming warranted! I posted it in the other thread just because I thought the other guy would like to browse this one, but I didn't realize it hadn't seen any love in years. Glad to see people already hoping on board. Here's a fresh Penguin pic:
