The good thing is that it has already been used a bit. Plus it would be kinda cool to see how well it works compared to these new ones.
I need one of those money trees if you happen to stumble across one! I promise I won't tell anyone.

I think it's ok to say eBay. I don't think they want us to try to sell items in threads other than in actual sales threads. I can be wrong though!
To bad everyone selling stuff on there didn't have an account here. The market over here seems to get a ton more attention.

I think it's ok to share info on sales as long as it's not your own or trying to make a buddy money. Keeping an eye open for others shouldn't be a problem.
 
I'll have to try to find the rules page on here.

All I know is that prototype is awesome stuff! I think I'd have a hard time using it just like you though. I love knives but I can't stand having them sitting around not getting love.
 
I like the idea of it but its so difficult to get it right for all band sizes. Guy's design now is is excellent for all hand sizes.

I used to love finger grooves (the look) but as I purchased more and more that didn't fit, even the look wore on me a bit haha, I really like the direction survive knives went and is going! kudos on quick design evolution!
 
My 4.1, not numbered, was one of Guy's test DLC knives. Same with with the 5.1, numbered, and my 7/7, not numbered. Notice that you don't see any laser engraving on any of the knives. I didn't know the 5.1 was numbered until about a week after I got it. It's pretty hard to see.

Guy told me this is an early EDC4 and one of the first with cerakote.

7/7 Black DLC coated. From the original run of 7/7s, according to Guy. Picked it up used with the stock sheath with a skystorm (now Patriot Leather) sheath and dropper loop for the the kydwx. I has definitely seen a ton of use. Its beaten but still in great shape. The coating has held up amazingly well. It has been sharpened... A LOT. Im gonna reprofile the edge to a convex, mirror polished razor. Probably gonna take a while.

 
That was a nice buy on that 7/7- I can't wait for the new generation of these to get made.
 
I really like that this thread is producing so many pictures of the old and limited runs. Between extinct models and features, it is neat to see the variety of what is out there all in one place :thumbup:
