After Strider's stolen valor escapades became common knowledge, not really sure he's part of "The Trinity" anymore, especially since most people don't care to own something from a company who gained their fanbase based on lies, and whose knives for a long time were actually pretty poorly made.

I'd daresay there are better knives that belong in that third slot these days, like Les George or Keonig.

There was actually a thread not long ago about who would replace strider in the trinity. It came down to LG and the spartan shf. The shf actually won in the vote to my dismay!

I think when considering the “official trinity” it’s in the context of historical contribution to the industry which is probably why Koenig wasn’t considered. But at the end of the day everyone gets to define their own trinity I suppose.

My personal is Les, Hinderer, Ernie but Reeves is no doubt deserving considering he created the frame lock.

I haven't. Maybe at Blade Show next year. I don't love the aesthetics, but I may like it better in person.

I know one thing, out of a lot of premium knives that I have handled IMO CRK is the best!!!

I would say I have two trinities one set that rarely leaves the cabinet and the other that I actually EDC. The second one has a few options but as of today it would be these three.
First the ones that stay at home:
Shirogorov 95T Custom division, for just overall amazing fit and finish


Rockstead Ryo, like a small piece of art

Grimsmo Rask. love that they make every part


Then these are at the moment I would say are my favorite to edc
Koenig Arius, just a great design and construction

I could pick any of my CRKs but for this one I am taking the newest, Inkosi large Insingo blade

Lastly the Herman Slim

That insingo blade is the perfect EDC shape in my experience. Very strong point but still pointy enough to poke into something. I have a small Sebenza 31 Magnacut insingo, w/micarta inlays. Love it for EDC.
