Great looking knives, kyturkey. What models are they? I'd like to hear about your trapping also. Maybe we need a JK hunting/trapping thread; it tis the season.

Ive always dreamed about trapping one day. Dont even know any old timers around here who still do it.
Hell I would almost pay to join someone on their line for a couple of days.

The red handled one, I drew up for one of John's design contests. I went to John's shop and we made it, the handles are old firehose. No official name as it's the only one made, but I like it.

I don't remember the model of the other one. I think John called it a bird and trout or small game knife or maybe a paring knife, not sure. (Maybe John knows) I used it skinning coons this last winter during trapping season. Last winter was my third trapping, and also the least amount of time I spent trapping since I started. I've caught coyotes, coons, possums, skunks, a bobcat, and a neighbors dog (released unharmed). It's been fun, I enjoy being out.

Enjoying my second cup of coffee while looking through these pics. Many of you have some awesome JKs:thumbup: Here is a
pair I carried this spring. An unusual but effective Nessmuk Trio when I add a Vic Farmer.

I really liked those Spike Hawks. That was the first one I ever made, I believe you bought it second hand.

The color composition of this photo is fantastic. Great picture. The Bluegill looks awesome. It will be interesting to see how the Osage ages over time.
