Im excited to see the handles change with use.
The first order of business is let them sit overnight with a light coat of pure linseed oil.
After the wood soaks in a bit of oil it really makes the yellow and orange colors 'pop'.
 
heefageLA that Stretched Mini Potawatami with Osage looks awesome! I could see that being used on any small game, even turkeys.

Look what was waiting for me when I got home today. Man, do I love this knife! I've never had a Kephart, and instantly get the appeal of this pattern. The handle feels so good in hand, and I love the blade shape.



It would appear I have developed an osage obsession...
