Glad you like it, Charlie, and very nice to know that it would be handed down to your son... ;^) Those JK Keebler knives are very handy and darn right cute in my opinion.

In the same vein, following is a picture of the JK Bushcrafter that Mykel modified, and I believe this is one of the only JKs with brass liners -

I was very lucky to win this in a giveaway contest that Mykel held, and it too will be handed down to my son, he gravitated to this knife when we were going through my JK Knife bag....

This knife reminds me of the Tops BOB at least in looks not sure the dimension differences.
 
My Kephart with Bloodwood handle scales arrived. I've never seen bloodwood this light, but it looks good.

This is my first JK and I think it's a beauty......I wonder if I should throw some tru-oil or something on it to really bring out the wood grain. I think it's bocote....

It looks like bocote. That's one of the old style Kepharts, no longer made, so a good catch! I use linseed oil, but trueoil should be fine.
