Glad you like it, Charlie, and very nice to know that it would be handed down to your son... ;^) Those JK Keebler knives are very handy and darn right cute in my opinion.
In the same vein, following is a picture of the JK Bushcrafter that Mykel modified, and I believe this is one of the only JKs with brass liners -
I was very lucky to win this in a giveaway contest that Mykel held, and it too will be handed down to my son, he gravitated to this knife when we were going through my JK Knife bag....

Thanks for the info...and the knife!Rub some linseed oil on them, a little at a time, to darken them up, they will also darken with age.
