i didn't get any, I didn't find out until it was all out and I saw him walkin round with both pant legs burned off halfway up to the knee
I was busy helping folks do their first cable damascus, and showing two people who had never FORGED blades how to do it
Whoever has those pics needs to hurry up and get them up, the suspense is killin me

I forged a blade out of one of the cable billets I made, there were 2 people I taught how to forge blades, plus another blade in that fire at the same time,
I did up a 160 layer billet and twisted it, then 2 cable billets (one of which is a blade waiting for m e to grind and finish it right now) then Bill Vining had 2 billets he started and wasn't able to finish because of torch problems, so he gave them to me and I finished them, I think I showed 6 or 7 people how to do cable billets, several other folks did cable billets and flat stacked billets, and at one point there were 6 anvils in use making blades and hawks, so I would say yes blades were forged. Seemed like everyone was either playing with Aldo's 1084, or 1095 or hammering cable (OK I think Rocketman was beating on a ball peen hammer)
LOTS of food (i was too chicken to try the spicy stuff but there was LOTS of that) and I think everyone brought at least a 6 pack.

Hooked up the blower i bought off IG when i got home yesterday. Turned my little venturi blower into a fire breathing beast from hell...suhweet. Ill use a hell of a lot less propane, too!

Fred, I made smoked BBQ chicken, Fava Beans with green pepper, onion and Chourico, Boston style baked beans with blood pudding. BBBBB Beaver made 4 alarm Moose chili. Nathan made Cacoila (Marinated pork).:thumbup::thumbup: Also had store bought Syrian meat pies.

The bbq chicken was awesome. I threw a lil HT relish in my sandwich and it was suweet! I also LOVED those pickled, smoked habernero's that you gave my buddy and me. He said he couldnt taste anything that night, but he's a wuss.

It was pure evil to watch. George just nodded his head and said "yup, its a cherry pepper" Then he started laughing as he walked away.
To his credit, I've never seen a guy run so fast for his beer and stay so calm and composed the whole way.Not sure who that man on fire was, all I can say is that he was one handsome devil
