Pictures of hard to find 122/124

Yes, thats the one Hkingdom! What a cool knife! I wish I knew the history of the stamping but no one here remembers.
So could I trouble you for info on the packaging of the NIB 124 with the smoke pole etched on it? I know Buck has one or 2 of those knives in the archives but they are loose, no box or sheath to help determine vintage.

Richard,
Are you talking about a file on the computer or a xerox? I checked my 124/122 file cover to cover and did not see that knife. I'll post it if I can find out where I put it.

Joe, I will get the information to you.

Thumbnails are still there -

1. login to your PhotoBucket account
2. Upload your pic
3. Check the box in front of the pic
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page
5. Click "Generate HTML and IMG Code"
6. On the page that opens, copy the text inside the third box -
"IMG clickable thumbnails for message boards - recommended"

- That is your thumbnail

7. Paste that text into your post

And Thank You Very Much for choosing this option! ;)

howdy trax...
well i sent the info to photo bucket
it was not that we did not know how it was that we could not..
they explained that a desk top short cut will at times no longer work to get you in to the edit menu for many diffrent reasons such as up dates ect.. it will only get you in to the guest menu...
if you log in in long hand all the time then it will work fine...
but you have up date your short cut every so offten..

Joe- it is a photo copy in with the art work I sent you. It should be after the Aurum art and at the beginning of the Buck art. I will try to reach you by phone to get it nailed down.

Some of my pics have been up since 2004 without updating anything; they still work fine...

Here's some pics put up in 2006... ;)

i normaly use a short cut icon on the "desk top" to go directly to web sites like ...
well this one-
one click and i am signed in and at the buck form pages-
not the log in page!
the same with photo bucket
one click and i am at my buck album and not a log in page ...
i reacently did some up dates and on clicking the icon i thought i was at the edit page of my buck knives ... but it was the page you can get to and not the edit enabled pages of my album...
this some time happens and they did not say why...
could be some thing i did .. or corupted icon short cut,,,
but i can now do thumbnails again...
did you know that if you get a link to a photo bucket pict
that you can peek at all the picts they have there?
:cool::)

Only the ones in "Public" albums...But then, *all* my pics are public, since most describe procedures for machining something for members on other forums...Take a look around; lots of AR-15 stuff... :)

like does this one look filmure to any one? :p

:cool::)

Yes, that's an eBay pic I stole... :D

I wanted to show the difference between 110/560 and 186 components...Feel free to link to it yourself...Should be a 110 parts knife there, too... ;)

Sadly, that thread is buried in the Archives here...Never to be seen again... :(

Edit: OK, I see now what you meant...If you link to someone else's pic on PhotoBucket, the full-size is all you can link to...Not the thumbnail...You have to have owner-access to get the thumbnail code...But you can open the other guy's post and copy the thumbnail URL and paste that in *your* post...But that's way too much trouble for most people...

Go ahead...that's why they're in my "public" folder...Now, the ones in the password-protected folder are strictly controlled...Only one has ever been transferred to the "public" folder... :D

You find one of these at a gun/knife show...you let me know... ;)

Its just me then...I tried everything that you guys suggested and still no thumbnail options. :( I hate posting huge pictures here but here is one of the 124 Daniel Boone. How many were made? Well I have only seen one, and you are looking at a digital picture of a xerox, which is all we got. Cool looking 124!

FYI, I had no trouble on my 300 Custom Shop thumbnails doing just what Trax described. The pages seem longer and some info was below my screen bottom, make sure that is not occurring.....300

I need one maybe 2....:D

Hey E-cubed, did you notice the guard? Looks more like one from a dagger than the traditional 124 guard.
If you find 2, you will have many new friends!

You know it looks a lot like the Geronimo dagger project Buck did a while back. The guard looks the same and the plate thingy on the handle slab we also did on the dagger.

wow i wants them all!!!
heck i might would even give up a ride on Goose's Scoot 4 one!!!
but as grandmother said :
if wishes were horses then beggers would ride...
that and mom said some thing about a frog...?

Anything about a prince and a jar?? ;)
