Okay. I went in a totally different direction and got a bottle of rye. Not being much a cocktail guy these days, I just don't keep it on hand. They were out of the Michter's so I gave Bulleit's Rye a try. It has a pleasing character when enjoyed neat. It wasn't quite bad on the rocks but it was robbed of a lot of what I liked about it neat. I was left wishing it was either scotch, bourbon, or just not on the rocks.
