Working on my Od and black knives, got a recon 1 tanto coming saturday. I'll be getting a clip point and maybe a broken skull or maybe a Espada.

Pleasantly surprised this trail boss withheld hacking/smashing this piano apart today. No sledge hammer handy. Nice job on the trail boss cold steel. Have used descent amount splitting wood also and it's holding up great.

Had to dig out my old camera for this. I took one of those master craft Japanese White Steel laminated blades from Japan Woodworker that is a real joy to cut with and couldn't help myself. The lock mechanism on these craft blades is weak really and after just grafting one branch in the garden with one it started developing serious blade play and so I was looking at it I mean it was a lock back anyhow as it comes from Japan Woodworker. So I just fixed it up. I can't post the link but you can see them for yourself in hand tools, knives and dual grind and right hand grind knives if you want to visit their site on your own. As you see they used to offer a left hand grind also that I did in some frame locks on my forum here but I wanted my own in my favorite Triad lock folder, the mini AK so I used one of those bodies and a factory blade to trace. It came with blade play in it from the factory and due to that I wasn't carrying it. Anyway I just wanted this fine white steel blade in something more pocket worthy than the unwieldy size and length and the awkward grip of that rosewood handle with the lock release poking your palm as it comes from them. And since I had this mini AK laying there in a drawer not being used. Well, I thought I'd give it a shot. These white steel blades are fairly brittle blades really so no hood stabbing or anything but its fast become one of my favorite users! The chopping angle for working in the kitchen with food prep chores now is greatly improved due to the angle diff of this blade shape. I still have the original with a factory blade in it on my left side though so no worries the original that started it all for me with this love affair I have for the Triad lock is still clipped there! That is the one that gets all the beat em up work! This one's just for me! I always sold off the frame locks even when I made them for myself using one of these fine blades but this one I'll keep!

I would like to suggest some knives with this angle to them to CS! This greatly improves usable function in so many tasks you don't really even realize it until you just try one!
