Pictures Of Your Cold Steel

Those three are all truly gorgeous ! 😻

Not as common to see Cold Steel "all dressed up" , as some other brands .

Thank you. I just noticed in the macro that the tanto needs a good sanding and maybe another coat to smoothen it out. Got a "booger" on the lock bar pin I just noticed on close up now. Wow, my eyes are shot! 🥸 👓

Well, they say your sight is the first to go and then your hearing, and then memory and then........I forgot what they said was next after that. :p

Yup, not a lot of custom handles for our beloved CS, it's a shame, too. Lynn designed a rock solid foundation in the "bones" of a lot of the production models. It really lends itself customization.

Saw somewhere that a Spyderco clip might be the answer to the crazy stiff clip on my American Lawman:

I mean it might technically fit...

You can try that .

Or just bend out the factory clip , as needed .

Can also sand a bit under the area the clip covers , or fill smooth with epoxy , like JB Weld .

My experience with bending them feels like the steel they use isn't springy enough. At best I get it where it's just off the scale and still a pain to use. Like the various milled ti clips. They look nice but for an EDC going in and out the pocket very often I just don't care for them.

Cold Steel , at least in my past experience , has not been a brand that had a lot of aftermarket pimping goodies .

Many , maybe most, of Cold Steel old school customers , were "value"(cheapskate) buyers ; and not the type persons to want to spend a lot of extra hard cash for expensive mods / extras .

I have seen a few clips and such on Ebay , but no idea of the quality there .

I've bought some of those Snaggletooth wave opening mods , but always resented the cost for what you get .

I can use a zip tie, or a twisted piece of steel fencing wire , for almost nothing . ☺️
