Pictures of your SOG knives

Good call John. I remembered seeing the original box out in the garage and went to check, it is a Tech. In any case, very solid, very sharp knife. I haven't had a lot of use for it, but I do appreciate the craftsmanship.

This is my EDC Powerlock, I added a Glock disassembly tool. I am a Glock armour so It comes in very handy always having a Glock tool with me.

By the way will the Power Assist actually be out this month? I can't wait to get ahold of one.
 
It should come out this month, the Power Assist looks very nice on the pictures. Same price as the Power Lock so it all looks well. Wow! I just saw something that sounds really cool, S.A.T. on two of the Power Assist blades. Maybe this one is better than the Power Lock.

BTW, nice photo, I always like the looks of a field striped gun. A Glock is a good gun, I once shot the 17, good overall gun but it doesn't have the looks IMO. Some love it others hate it. For me, I don't really like plastic guns, but overall I love all guns. I think I would buy one if I lived in the States but in the Netherlands you can only have five guns so you only buy what you like. ( It takes at least three years to get the max of 5 guns legally here).

Quick review: Very nice blade shape, IMO this one has a nicer blade shape than the XL. It’s also sharp as you can see on the picture. The aluminium handle is really solid and the knife has a good lock. As always I have to fine-tune the blade a little to make it tight and to make sure that it still opens smoothly. There is still a little side to side play left, that’s the only bad thing. For the rest, I like the flipper, with the flipper you can open this knife is a flash without getting your fingerprints on the blade. This one is smaller than my other folders but that is something that is good for the change. I don’t always need a large folder.
Another thing that I really like about this blade is the tip, it’s sharp and can penetrate well. Not all the folders have that piercing ability, but SOG always has. And BTW, the clip is also rock solid. So overall really good knife which you can find for 35-45 bucks. And with the flipper and S.A.T. this one is very close to an auto knife I guess.

Great review and I agree on all your points. Especially on the clip. It's probably done better than all my other folding knives
