Two VERY rare BuckMasters PigMaster and a 1986 upside down stamped. Dave you can find the pigstickers for sale . the $100 ones or less $$ are way gone! I had one for sale once for $130 and was scoffed at a knife show. I sold that same knife for $300 6 months ago. Signed by Chuck Buck, CJ Buck,Sara Buck, and Josh Buck.....

some ware here i or bucksway posted two pict of me useing a 651 to skin a boar ...
but i cant find it ... was neat in its own way to use one but it really was a tad to big
i think it was pig nothing pigsticker 1

Dave got my PS and the build out for less than a 100.00 but I can't see charging my bro a markup over my cost after all he has done for me 112 wise..... the PS cost me 52.00 delivered and the build out was I think 40.00 or so in Atlanta in 2010...I hope i have learned a lesson..if you get a real deal on a nice Buck, KEEP It!!!!!!!!!!!

AT that time it was still mine and Dave took the pic with the 651 with a drop of blood on the tip.....A really cool shot! I will bide my time and try and find one used as I plan to send it to Leroy and have the false edge real sharp and do something to the handle too..I'm thinking i might have a small brass strip added to the top edge...I remember reading that knife fighters sometimes did that to 'grab' the blade of the other guys knife in a 'conflict'....In the meantime I have a 653 in ye ol' truck..

I don't see how he resisted taking a pic with the Pigsticker buried to the hilt in that boar's chest!!!

:)

We were using 3 or 4 different Bucks on that pig..One was a D2 118 that really made me a convert to D2..It would have been 'Politically INCORRECT' to stick that pig but your right, it would have been fun!

yep .... i wanted to stick the pig...dont remember why i did not..
still would like to see the pict again
and still looking for a big knife for grand kids and son in law...

Sold out in Germany too. Tried to get one more or two
but there's no offer. I keep the one I have. Thank you, Tom.

Haebbie

why thank you very much there long bow!!!
i had looked for that link and not foound it ...
was a good time to read it again ...
and yes i still think the D2 is a good steel and not to hard to frishen up at all ...
that 651 is now in texas wateing for a grand son to put hand to it years from now...
and i have one for the other grand son now also
and my daughters hubby wants me to make it a set of 3 ... so the hunt is still on
for that one and still for the rayavich build out for me and a friend

Gday everyone, my name is Dave I have just joined your forum. I have joined to tell you all exactly how the Buck 651 Intruder(in Australia the ordering coded is Buck 190DC Intruder but not on the box, it is still 651. The DC being my initials and 190 being blade length in metric millimetres) came to be in production. I worked for an Australian wholesaler for 9 years that is the sole importer of Buck knives as a sales representative.
In August 2006 I approached my boss with the proposal of designing a super strong pig sticker specially for our Australian market, he put this idea to Buck and they agreed to look at my design . I drew up the dimensions of the blade and had to work with existing handles in the Buck range, the knighthawk handle was the obvious choice but a second plan was drawn up with the handle of a Buck General. The Buck General handle was ruled out because it was far to slippery with blood on it, believe me you don't want to drop your knife when your on top of a 100 kilo boar trying to tear your leg open

half my post was cut off, The proto type knife and pouch was sent to me and was signed off on and in early 2007 we had our first 400 intruder 651 knives arrive. The next order was made for 400 pieces and they arrived in early 2009.
I left the company in 2010 but have been talking to someone within the company this week and they said there has been no more orders since.
I only have 2 knives, 1 is in use and the other is behind glass with the proto type.
I hope this has helped with all your unanswered questions about the mystery Buck Intruder 651. cheers Dave

Thank you kindly davie and welcome to the forum.

If you have a photo or two of your knives I will buy you half a beer. Should you post a photo or two of the pig master in action you will quickly elevate your forum status to sultan of swine stickers! :) I love to see that gear. Yes I do.

I remember when that knife came out. I was so excited and wanted one. I couldn't find one anywhere. I remember every time someone posted one I would start looking again. I finally just gave up.
