pig stickers

thanks fellas, I will get organised soon and work out how to post some pics for you. I have a small collection of some Bucks but nothing Limited Edition.cheers

that's a great looking custom, I got hold of a 651 blade with a split handle and plan to replace it with Samba deer antler

Edbeau, nice collection there. I wish Buck still made the nighthawk without the little holes in it. Looks so much better without. Not to hijack but does anyone know why they put the holes in it?

The knives are now made with Tops and their knives are known for the "tools" built in the blade.

Pretty sure it has to do with the valve on an oxygen tank or something. You put the holes over the tips on the valve to turn it. Least that's what I heard/read.

So if I get one I guess I'll have to go buy an oxygen tank to carry around.:D

I sold my Pig Sticker NIB. It didn't feel right, to me that is. Felt to heavy at the tip rather than being balanced. I much prefer the 124 but then to each his own.
As far as old Nighthawks go I sold some on the bay. It took forever to sell 4 or 5 NIB and the price was lower than most. I don't know why the nighthawk seems to be one of the lesser desired straight edge knives.

Could be the thickness of the blade. The Nighthawks blades are almost a quarter of an inch thick where a 119 is around .175 of an inch.
