Pimp my Busse SFNO

Edge-maker is doing a very great job...

This knife started out as a regular cg SFNO flatgrind with black crinkle coating and black canvas magnum grips.

When it was mine I stripped the coating and did a few cosmetic changes (a little chamfering on the holes and a regular beadblast)...

This is how it looked before I sold it to Edge-maker...

EM---I'm glad I got on here. You are doing a spectacular job. Can't wait to see the completed knife. ;)

Next step.

Corby blind bolts tightened up and handle scales epoxied. Grip formed with files. Now only some sanding and beadblast remaining. And a sheath of course.

To be continued..

The end result.

Handle is completely shaped and the entire knife has gotten a glass bead blast. The handle is right in the middle between a normal handle and a magnum. And it feels great!

Hope you like it.

And of course a sheath to go with my pimped SFNO.

Two layers of kydex are incorporated in this sheath to protect the wearer, but none of it touches the blade, it's only touched by leather.

Edge-maker, the results definitely justify the means!

That's a real comfortable-looking knife. As someone else said, it looks a little 'old school' and I like that. Seriously good work!

Interesting thing putting the kydex in the leather - is it to help prevent the blade from poking though in an accident?

That is outstanding, I love it!!!

Great work and thanks for sharing the process!!

Cool knife Gert! Good work.

@Foxyrick; yes it's to protect the blade from pocking the owner in an accident. Gert said that on another forum:)

Very cool:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I like the handle a lot with these blind bolts

+1.

You've kept the spirit ... yet you've made it uniquely your own.

Great job.
