Thank you all for your nice comments. I might add that working with it is definitely more pleasant than before the alterations. Especially applying pressure with the thumb on top or working with your index finger in the choil is a real pleasure.

The sheath is double stitched throughout.
 
Interesting thing putting the kydex in the leather - is it to help prevent the blade from poking though in an accident?

This is the idea behind Dwayne's (LeatherHog) "Fusion" sheaths. Four layers of leather sandwiching kydex for an absolutely bullet-proof sheath. I have one for my Uncle MoFo that is just amazing.
 
Very very nice work. Subtly done with a good eye for what works and compliments the blade.
