You need a churchwarden Paul! ;) :D

Yeah, that's the ticket! Just crack the window and stick the pipe outside along side a soda straw, while a towel seals up the opening around the pipe and puff away. Draw in through the pipe and out through the straw! I may try that myself!!
:D

That sounds just crazy enough to work you two:thumbup::D

Never, but absolutely never, under estimate the ingenuity of a pipe smoker who's better half doesn't like smoke in the house. !!!

For those days when it's nasty enough that I don't want to go out on the porch even with a eskimo parka or a seaman's rain slicker, I go down to the basement. I go in the utility/laundry room and close the door. Then I take a screw driver, a long screw driver, and undo the flex hose that is the clothes drier vent from the back of the drier to the flapper door in the upper basement wall. Then I use the long screw driver to prop open the flapper vent, pull up a chair and a good book, and with a small fan running, I enjoy my pipe sitting right by the vent. The smoke goes out the drier vent, and all is well. When done, I re-attach the flex hose from the drier to the vent flap, and that's it.

The ol' lady is happy, I'm happy, so it's a win-win situation all over.

Well after looking over all these beautiful shots I thought I might as well show what I do with my spare time.

Great picture Perry, I love that Crosley!!! But pardon my ignorance here but is that an actual vintage Crosley? I think so but the re pops sure mirror the originals:o

My Dad owned a furniture/electronic and appliance store. He ushered in the first tv's in our small town. We had many vintage Zenith and Crosley radio's over the years:thumbup: I would listen for hours to an old Trans-Oceanic Zenith we kept in our shop/garage:)

Paul, while I have some original radios, this one is a restored and repainted one. Works like new though.

Well, I did a search and didn't see this. It seems to me they would attract the same folks. And as I am newly interested in pipes I'd love to see yours! So let us see them! will add a photo when I can get home as tapatalk has changed on me.
