Pistol-caliber carbine

Some states do classify anything with a pistol grip to be a handgun, it varies from state to state. Before the instant background checks took the place of state pistol paperwork in Indiana a Kel-Tec Sub (or AR or pistol grip shotgun, etc) would have required pistol paperwork filled out and a 7 day waiting period if you didn't have a ccw for example.

That's just awesome. How's the common man to know?

So make sure you check your local laws...... Your gunshop dudes should be able to clarify for you.

Believe it or not I bought one of the High Point 9mm Carbines just for fun. I then spent another $ 60 for an ATI stock. It looks a lot like a Beretta Storm and it shoots unbelievably well for the money. I'll admit that they are as ugly as sin out of the box and I hated the original stock but there are a lot of mods that may change your mind and they have a great warranty. Plus you can spend the extra $$ on ammo.

Not mine but almost identical.

That's pretty cool! Wish somebody made an aftermarket stock for the Ruger PC series of rifles. If someone had, perhaps I would still own my PC9.
