Corny title I admit but we have just been away for a few days and had the good fortune of running into a black bear at close quarters !!!!

This was when we first spotted her ( I think it was a female !) !

I jumped outta the car and took a few pics while she was still a safe distance away although I think I could have stayed there all the time and she wouldn't have bothered me !

We watched him for a while as she ambled on up the road before setting back off ourselves !

Cool pics Pit. I'm sure Maisy was going ape sh!t.

She looks like she could have cared less that there was a crowd of people around taking pictures. That first picture looks like it could be a dog from that distance:)

Thanks for sharing.

Great shots, Bro. Never seen a wild bear that calm around humanity. Usually, they take off hauling the mail.

Poor Maisy was probably warning you that there was the slightest possibility of the bear being a bigfoot! :)

Did you have a Mora ready just in case?

we have that problem here with our bears, they are so used to eqauting humans/dwellings as food sources (ie: handouts or food/garbage left out)

Well, seeing as his location is listed as Vancouver Island, which is in Canada, that seems like the most likely option!
