Pit's Quest For Fire-Part 2 !

Yeah it was real worn in the middle area, I have actually got a blister from trying so hard to light a fire yesterday !!!:o

Pit .... you might want to upgrade to one of those 1/2 inch thick monsters

I'm just saying :D

That's so fake, Pit!!! Anyone could see that this is all set up and you are in a studio complete with a rain machine. Its difficult for the untrained eye.... but I can see the propane burner under the so called "stick fire". Nice try, buddy....... the "stuffed Maisy dog" was the icing on the cake.

:p

+1. That mushroom looks Photoshopped.

cool pics once again man... rain or shine, that place is amazing.... that fire looks great in that rainy weather...:)

i love maisy dog's jacket too....:D

hey PITDOG! mega rainfall warning for our area again!!!! kepp Maisy on a leash around the creeks, they are flooding preety bad. (dont know about your neck of BC, but i imagine its the same.

I got three 60 gallon barrels full of water already from the downspouts!.

WOOHOO - Fire - Second time is a charm.

Must have been the good luck doggie coat :)

Nah, it's the Tracker knife, like I said before it changes us mere mortals in survival gods !!!:D

LOL - I'm watching Castaway right now. He could use a tracker, he just cut down a tree with an icescate.

Once it starts raining again, I need to work on my fire skills when it's wet.

Yeah ya got me bro.....just call me Bear Grylls !!!:D

Hey Pit, don't let them get you down, you still have hero status since you parachuted in to the location with a big dog strapped to your back.

(I saw the beginning of your episode with the cool theme music!) :D

Good deal with the fire! Those soaking wet conditions are about as tough as it gets for fire this side of a full-on monsoon.

Great Job! I am envious.
