Plans for 50th Anniversary Folding Hunter?

Exact Copy.... No

Can't be exact, or even close enough to where a novice couldn't tell difference.

I can just see big bold print on ebay. " ORIGINAL BUCK 110" Rare Vintage Mint, and all the other flowery words.

Value of the "originals" might go downhill faster than a landslide at a pig farm.

So, a close commerative, just not exact. I don't think Buck would do exact.

I agree it can't be exact, and that Buck would probably not make an exact copy, it would likely be distinguishable from a real original, probably with a date code stamp on the tang or something.
I think it might make the originals price rise, Since the new Camaro came out, I've noticed first Gen Camaros have skyrocketed in price.....

I also think a thin made in USA Leather Belt Sheath like the original would be nice

Make us a 1095 carbon steel with real rosewood scales, not the plywood stuff, but REAL genuine rosewood scales, see if i don't buy 12 of them in a hurry.

Yeah, Buck.....break the 50th Anny Stonewall of Silence.

:)

(No doubt they are having meetings about it and probably big arguments about what special models to produce for the occasion.)

One of these days soon we'll hear what they've decided.

I would be all over a throwback with macassar scales and 440C. And an upgrade to S30V or CPM-154 wouldn't break my heart.

Bringing this back up as the anniversary 110s have been announced. Which version are you all liking? I dig the idea of the "Federal", then "Magnolia", then "Lochsa". Anybody aware whether "issues" with the 1st generation (noted earlier in this thread) will be addressed in this production?
