Plant ID Video Passaround???

so those of y'all who have viewed them? Are you getting anything out of them?? Are any of the plants mentioned in your area? Reviews?

Most of the plants mentioned are new to me, but I don't know if it's because they aren't common here or just because I don't know many of them yet. It did get me motivated to warm up my library card again, that's for sure. We have the common stuff here: cattails, miner's lettuce, and the fiddleheads are just coming up (mmmmm...)

Thanks for putting this together HD. Even if some of the info doesn't apply here, the preparation methods and cautions are always good to know. Not to spoil anything for those who haven't seen them yet, but I liked how they showed similar species so you could see the differences side by side. That's something I haven't really seen in the field guides I've looked through.

I forwarded them to Terry and said he recieved 'em April 17 and was looking for Brian Andrews addy last I saw.

HD - have you been into the homebrew again ? J/k, I know better than to poke someone who has that many khuks - I'm pretty sure that HI could make you one that reaches this far...:D

Why do you say that????

That's all gone:(

I had it in a 5 gallon keg but I kept 8 champagne bottles of it for our brewing competition in the fall.

I have 5 gallons of honey lager in my kitchen waiting to keg/bottle up now:thumbup:

Any chance I can get in on this? I would like to watch some videoes to complement my peterson field guide for eastern forest edible plants.
I live in Ohio. PM me or email at

Thanks!

I've been really getting into identifying wild plants lately. Does anyone have a master list of everyone doing the passaround? I'd be curious to see where I am on the list just to get a general idea of eta . . .

Barabas
mneedham
fiddleback
tarmix
sketchbag
csshepherd
deadeyelefty
TSF
Briangandrews
Eastr77

I put Barabas at top because I can probably just meet him in person.

If everyone doesn't mind after watching maybe they could say what they liked and didn't like about each.

I think this is the list

Id really like to check these out too if I could get in on this. If not, no worries, not a big deal. Im a late bast@#d!!!!:D

HD,

Could you please put me on the list? I asked back in February but apparently my name was never added, or perhaps that isn't the latest list . . . .

I probably just didn't add it cause I knew how long it would take with just those few people;)

As soon as we get to the last person you'll go next? Keep track of the thread and remind me though. I'm terrible about this stuff:o
