Wait til you see the metal business card Shon and us are working on

Well I better add that to my list.

Can't wait to have one, looks very useful.

Now that has some serious potential. I got in trouble with my steward up at Watts Bar for having a corner sharpened on my steel Journeyman's card. He made me rub it on a concrete wall to dull it.

No sharp edges planned on the metal card. Shon and us are still working on some concepts. The plastic card will be offered on our site but we are not doing away with the regular business card. We will also be giving out the plastic nav card at shows such as SHOT. Even comes with a small Tyvek protector sleeve to keep it from getting scratched up ;)

As a side note to all of this, while I know everyone likes sharp things, and while they are a very important tool, knowledge and information rules the day in survival situations. We have always been a company that puts information ahead of selling sharp edges. That's probably one thing that separates us from the pack in this industry. As I have said before, there is a lot of BS in the knife industry. Many companies just want to sell you another knife that you really don't need. Personally, if I can sell you a 3 dollar plastic card that may save your life over a 100 dollar knife, I would rather sell the 3 dollar card every time.

I wasn't saying you guys should sharpen them. It was just an option I liked having while working in an area where I wasn't allowed to carry even my pocket knife.

I really like this card idea, but I REALLY agree with mckrob. It has to have 360 degree markings around the edge and a hole in the center for a length of 550 guts to be tied off in. Then you can take a real heading from a map with this and apply it to your compass.
