Plastic Navigation / Survival card

Many companies just want to sell you another knife that you really don't need. Personally, if I can sell you a 3 dollar plastic card that may save your life over a 100 dollar knife, I would rather sell the 3 dollar card every time.

And that's why we buy the $100 knife (& the $3 plastic card.) Truth, honesty, and the desire to do good.

ESEE already has this navigation tool available...

How come you don't say that when they add a new knife to their line up? :p

I was just saying that as long as you're printing the card, print some numbers around the edge so it does one more thing or adds one more thing to the list of what it does already.

Remember, the more an item does, the more value it has in a survival kit or situation. I mean unless it is a huge cost factor, why not add degrees around the edge?

I myself, have a very hard time navigating without a protractor, and to always have a small little protractor like this on you could be very handy.

Remember this is going to be business card sized to put degree marks on something that small and not square would not work out all that well. Plus it looks to be packed full of stuff as it is. I don't think Jeff could get too much more on there and still have the info be legible or useful.

We do plan on creating a protractor card with 1:24,000 grid. We also plan to create the same card with other grid sizes. The point of this card is: 1) these will be passed out at trade shows along with our regular survival business card (no charge), and 2) it will be included in this kit that will be shipping to dealers soon: http://www.eseeknives.com/Mini-Survival-Kit.htm. Take a look at the link and also look at the instruction cards that will come with the kit. We will also offer this card on our web site for about a buck and a SASE envelope. Card comes with a Tyvek protector sleeve so it doesn't get scratched up like every plastic nav card I use ;)
