Plastic? We don't need no Steenkin' plastic...what is your favorite revolver?

several years ago i picked up an s&w mod 58, great gun. .41 mag, 4" barrel, fixed sights. that gun shot great. if you get a chance snag one.

I really like my father's Ruger Single Six, and I try to shoot it whenever I visit him. Some day he'll pass it on to me. SA revolvers point naturally for me and I can shoot them better than any other handgun type that I've tried.

I'd like to get myself a Black Hawk convertible .357/9mm.

I have one of each and really like them. If you do get the Blackhawk convertible, remember which cylinder is installed before you go out shooting. They are not marked, and I accidentally had the 9mm cylinder with me last time I went but only brought .38 Specials and .357 Magnums rounds. LOL!! I'm going to either make a pouch or buy one for the "spare" cylinder.

Both are really fun to shoot and point really well. My friends that are not into Revolvers rather like the blackhawk.

I own a S&W 442 for everyday carry and keep a TAURUS Tracker .357 with a 6.5 ported barrel in stainless handy.I like the versatility of the .357.

It is amazing so many have listed Ruger Single Actions. I have had mine for over 35 years now, still have the original box, spare cylinder box and red felt pouch for it. Wouldn't it be nice if Ruger would honor these prices today? :D This is the Instructions and parts list that came with my Blackhawk, gives you an idea just how old mine is. New cylinders just $22.00, complete reblue $12.00... insert big sigh here

Dan Wesson .44 Mag. Early Monson, MA maufacture, 4 digit serial number. Made in the late 70's and still outshoots pretty much every gun I own.
